| Formed in 1996, ion Water & Environmental Management Ltd, has provided a specialist service in all aspects of water hygiene, abstration, distribution, analysis and treatment.
Ion's business objective is to establish and maintain long term working relationships with a client base that will benefit directly from the experience, knowledge and expertise within the company. Ion has a portfolio of blue-chip clients including Edinburgh City, West Dunbartonshire, Dundee and Ayrshire Council, Royal Bank of Scotland, Glasgow University, Mitie and Turner Estate Solutions, provider of facilities management for al of MOD sites in Scotland.
Due to our excellent reputation this has now lead us to a merger with Integrated Water Services (IWS), a sister company of South Staffordshire Plc. The move has lead to a major expansion of IWS operations north of the border and has seen Paul Harris, Managing Director of Ion, join the board of the English based company. IWS supplies a wide range of services to the public sector, utility companies, industrial, commercial and retail customers.
The core services provided are delivered by utilising the experience and expertise of a directly employed resource, our success os based upon the expertise of our staff and ability to understand the client's requirements whilst delivering cost effective solutions through effective management.
Ion / IWS firmly believe that the services they provide, which are tailored to meet the specific needs of the clients are professional, cost effective and reliable. We now operate from 8 regional bases accross the country plus a full equipped specialist engineering workshop in the midlands.
