Purification
The water treatment / purification system is designed specifically for ‘remote’ sites / buildings where mains water is either absent or difficult to acquire.
Water can be collected from; a roof (rainwater) ; a stream or any other source and supplied to a cold water storage tank (CWST) before passing through a series of strainers and filters, then being treated for any bacteria by passing over a UV-Lamp and finally supplying a pressurisation unit.
When the system attains the required water level and pressure the system is now full and awaiting a demand for water at an outlet. Upon the opening of an outlet the water begins to flow under pressure via the pressurisation unit. The water will continue to flow until the level and pressure of the water decreases when the system is then operated through gravity.
Some of the benefits of the system to be considered;
a) Alternative to mains water where mains water is absent.
b) A ‘top up’ to mains water where mains water is unreliable or variable
c) Saving mains water consumption and therefore costs.
d) Savings on mains water installation for very remote and small buildings
