Responsible to: Operations Manager
Responsible for:
Carrying out monthly monitoring tasks within domestic hot and cold water systems in compliance with L8 ACOP in the Tayside Area.
Liaison with:
Operations Team Leader / Manager
Administrator
IMS Lead
Visiting Specialists
Main Purpose of the Job
Carrying out monthly monitoring duties in compliance with the ACOP L8. Cleaning / disinfecting of domestic hot and cold water systems to BS 6700 and sampling to BS 7592.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
Carry out monthly, quarterly, bi-annual and annual tasks to maintain clean and healthy water systems in compliance with ACOP L8 and COSHH
Attributes Required
Good understanding of Health and Safety
Good Knowledge of current Legislation in relation to domestic hot and cold water systems and safe systems of work
Qualifications:
Educated to City & Guilds standard or similar would be beneficial but not essential.
Experience:
Experience of water systems covering:
• Domestic Hot and Cold
• Cooling Towers
• Swimming pool / Spas / Baths
Aptitudes:
Good verbal and written communication skill
Good interpretation skills
An ability to deal with numerical information
Good inter-personnel skills

Driving License is Essential
