Title: Legionella Risk Assessor
Responsible to: Operations Manager

Responsible for:
Legionella Risk Assessments to L8 ACOP standard covering Scotland and occasionally North East and West of England.

Liaison with:
Operations Team Leader / Manager
Compliance Officer
Administrator
IMS Lead
Visiting Specialists

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
Carry out Risk Assessments to L8 ACOP standard, covering existing Clients and new Service Contracts. Be able to work closely with our Compliance Officer demonstrating live active control measures confirming continual ongoing compliance.

Attributes Required
Good understanding of Health and Safety
Good Knowledge of current Legislation in relation to domestic hot and cold water systems and safe systems of work. Be able to organise work load to meet business demand.
Good clear handwriting is essential.

Qualifications:
Educated to City & Guilds standard or similar would be beneficial but not essential.

Experience:
Experience of water systems covering:

• Domestic Hot and Cold
• Cooling Towers
• Swimming pool / Spas / Baths

Aptitudes:
Good verbal and written communication skill
Good interpretation skills
An ability to deal with numerical information
Good inter-personnel skills

Driving License is Essential
